Diese schöne und sehr HG-spezifische Kompositionen lassen wir die Authoren selbst erläutern:

"Task - during the solution, the thematic "hg" appears 12 times, including the first and the last moves of the series, while the antiform "gh" appears 17 times! "hg" is also present in the specially designed stipulation, being the aim of this problem: the files "h" and "g" exchange places, and all pieces that in the initial position were on files h and g, are located at the end of the series on the corresponding squares on the files g and h! To achieve this, White needs exactly 50 moves, hence the very special and highly thematic stipulation Ser.HG 50!"

Das ist wirklich verblüffend: Eine richtige HG-Forderung und ein Fokus auf dem HG und auf der 50 (orthodox würde man die Forderung wohl "Ser.A->B in 50" nennen, und so ist das Problem auch computergeprüft). Die Aufgabe ist weit mehr als ein Task: Eine abwechslungsreiche Lösung (wer möchte nicht gleich 7.Kf1? oder 22.K;g3 [Bg4]? ziehen?), die aber zugleich alle Vorzüge der vor allem aus Studien beknnten systematischen Figurenbewegungen aufweist. Als Rex solus bis ins Äußerste ausgefeilt, denn auch der einzige HG-nichttematische Stein wirkt mit: Der sKd8 verhindert einen Dual im 15 Zug. Die schwarze Bauernkette gleich zwei Felder nach oben zu locken, hat eindrucksvollen Antizielelementcharakter, die Exkursion des weißen königs nach links ist sehenswert. Höchst=originell und themagemäß!
